Bay Windows

 Bay Windows......traditionally beautiful.......

In keeping with the beauty and tradition of your home WeatherShield can add warmth and style, whilst maintaining your home’s traditional styling.

Unlike flat windows, Bay windows have to be structural in design. The majority are load bearing and careful consideration should be given to the spread of that given load.

If the bay’s angles are between 91 and 179 degrees , the window segments are connected by a variable angle pole and adaptor. This is reinforced with either galvanised steel or aluminium, dependant on the load. If it is a 90 degree angle a corner post is utilised and reinforced to the same specification. If the bay requires an external cill the joints are fully welded and sand and polished to create a pleasing joint.

As a member of FENSA, samples of our installation work are inspected by the BBA. At the time of these inspections, WeatherShield have to provide structural calculations to prove that the load is spread correctly. This is both a safeguard and a peace of mind for you the customer.

The next step is yours, but to really experience style...make the right choice....choose ...WeatherShield.
