WeatherShield Tilt/Turn  windows are available in 60mm depth and several casement options.

The tilt/turn  window has proved extremely popular within the domestic market and increasingly popular in the commercial  marketplace.The inward opening facility allows for easy cleaning,  effective fire escape and where restricted space outside makes outward opening hazardous.

The main features & benefits of the tilt/turn window system are:

  • Chamfered sash and outer frame provide extremely slim sightlines and enhanced aesthetic appeal.
  • Choice of finishes available; REHAU White, Mahogany or Golden Oak wood  effect laminated foil
  • The 16mm eurogroove ensures maximum choice of standard fittings, some of  which include the tilt before turn option as well as restrictors.
  • Manufactured in accordance with BS 6375 and approved by BBA.
  • Document Part L compliant.

  • Enhanced Hi-Security..compared to standard opening outward windows.They have far more locking points, dependant on casement size.
  • Need for large opening sizes are easily accomodated, up to 900mm wide by 2100mm high. Dependant on the casement utilised.
  • Aesthetics....unlike the limitations placed on outward opening casement windows they can be manufactured to create large opening picture windows.
